Tuning: Standard - E A D G B E
Tone: Moderate distortion, plus clean

First, we start of with a little clean intro:

--7-------------7----------5--
-----5-------------5----------
|--------4---/5--------5-------| Play this
|------------------------------| 2x, then...
------------------------------
------------------------------

As the second repetition plays, a wobbly guitar begins
to ramp in volume - for more information about this sound,
check out the tab for Girls, where I talk about the reverse
chorus effect using the Small Clone.

Then, the first verse begins. Our rhythm guitar is playing
some muted chords (very muted):

------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
--9-(play)-9-(play)----------7-(play)-9-(play)--
--7--------5--------7-(play)-5--------7---------
--------------------5---------------------------

As the verse continues, a second guitar comes in gradually:

-------------------
-------------------
--9-7-9-7-9-7-9-7--
-------------------
-------------------
-------------------

Then, we have a chord change. The first guitar is playing
straight power chords:

-----------------------0-------
-----------------------3-------
--X-----7--X-----------2-------
--X5----7--X/7----5---\0----2--
--X5----5--X/7----5---\0----2--
--X3-------X/5----3---\X----0--

The second guitar is playing the familiar muted chords, only
following the new progression:

---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
-----------7-(play)-------------------7-(play)-9-(play)--
--5-(play)-5--------7-(play)-5-(play)-5--------7---------
--3-----------------5--------3---------------------------

We have another reverse chorus effect during a quick break,
and then the verse is back, only with a third guitar doubling
the rhythm like this, playing continuously:

---------------
|---------------| The bottom string in
|---------------| this riff is muted
|--9---9---9----| slightly more than
|----7---7---7--| the top one.
---------------

The straight power chords enter again, and then we get ready
for the chorus, if you will. First, one guitar plays this:

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
--12--------14--------9---------
--12-(play)-14-(play)-9-(play)--
--10--------12--------7---------
--------------------------------

On the second repeat, a guitar comes in on the other channel,
doubling the chords an octave down:

|--XXX-----------------------------|--XXX--|
|--XXX-----------------------------|--XXX--| Both guitars end
|--XXX-----------------------------|--XXX--| the chorus on
|--XXX-5--------7--------2---------|--XXX--| triple scrapes,
|--XXX-5-(play)-7-(play)-2-(play)--|--XXX--| shown here.
|--XXX-3--------5--------0---------|--XXX--|

Then, we get a verse with no bass and only the rhythm guitars.

Instruments gradually re-enter the mix - just listen for the
timing - we've already gone over them all.

Then, during the final chorus, we have a little "solo" that's
really simple - like so:

------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
--9-(play)-9/11-\9-(play)-9/11-\9-9-(play)-9/11-\9-9/11-\9--
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
--9-(play)-9/11-11-11-11/12v--11-11/9v-9-(play)-11v-/13--
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------/15-(play)--
--14v--14/16v-\14-14-13v--13h14r13-14-14/16v-------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------
--15/17-17-(play)-17/18-17-(play)-17/18--17-17/18--17v\--
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

The song fades out on a watery note (that runs under much of
the song, incidentally) that is actually a quiet bit of
noise from the chorus pedal.
