Intro (High pass filter, gradually opening)
For the Xs, dampen the strings with both your picking and fretting hand.

|---------------------|
|---------------------|
|---------------------|
|--2222X--2222X--22X--| Repeat 3x
|--2222X--2222X--22X--|
|--0000X--0000X--00X--|

On the fourth time, play:

|-----------------------------|
|-----------------------------|
|-----------------1212121212--|
|--2222X--2222///X1212121212--| (10s and 12s)
|--2222X--2222///X1010101010--|
|--0000X--0000---X------------|

Then, the filter opens all the way and the song begins.
We have the same guitar as the intro in one channel, and
a second guitar doubling the riff, like this:

|---------------------|
|---------------------|
|--9999X--9999X--99X--|
|--9999X--9999X--99X--| Repeat 3x
|--7777X--7777X--77X--|
|--0000X--0000X--00X--|

Then, on the fourth time, play:

|----------------------------|
|----------------------------|
|--9999X--9999X-1212121212--|
|--9999X--9999X-1212121212--|
|--7777X--7777X-1010101010--|
|--0000X--0000X-0-0-0-0-0---|

For the first verse, the guitar drops out.

Then, play two sets of the riff from above, both guitars at once.
Once that's done, we go into new riff.

The first guitar plays this:

|-------------------------| |-------------------------|
|-------------------------| |-------------------------|
|--5---X-----XX-----XX----| |--5---XX-7-----8--8------|
|--5---X-5---XX-4---XX-2--| |--5---XX-7-----8--8---2--|
|--3---X-5---XX-4---XX-2--| |--3---XX-5---x-5--6\\\2--|
|------X-3---Xx-3---XX-0--| |------XX-----x--------0--|

For both versions of that riff, as soon as the guitar hits
the final E5 (the 022), a second guitar enters, playing this:

|---------------------|
|---------------------| For this part, play the octave, muting
|--9b,r---------------| everything but the two notes you want,
|--X-----Strum--------| and strum quickly while first bending,
|--7------------------| then releasing, the 3rd string (the 9)
|---------------------|

Then, we go into the second verse, only this time with the
guitars - you know the drill by now.

Next comes the second part, which by now you know. The only
difference is that during the second section, while the first
guitar is playing, a little lead riff comes in with it. It's
hard to tab out what's happening, but it's all pinch harmonics,
bends, and hammer-ons, with some vibrato thrown in. If you listen
to the track enough, you'll see that it's easier than it looks.

|-----------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------------------------------------------|
|--<9b>-9-9-<9r>7------------7-9-9br--7-<9b>---<9br>7-------|
|-----------------9-7v---7h9--------------------------9-9v--|
|-----------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------------------------------------------|

Then, the guitars fade out for a minute as we enter the middle
section of the song. When they come back, the first guitar is
playing these chords:

|-----------------------------------|
|-----------------------------------|
|--9999X--9999X--99X--9999X--9999X--|
|--9999X--9999X--99X--9999X--9999X--|
|--7777X--7777X--77X--7777x--7777x--|
|-----------------------------------|

|----------------------------------------|
|----------------------------------------|
|--99999--99X--9999X--99X--9999X--9999X--|
|--99999--99X--9999X--99X--9999X--9999X--|
|--77777\555X--5555X--55X--5555X--5555X--|
|----------------------------------------|

|----------------------------------------|
|----------------------------------------|
|--99999\777X--7777X--77X--7777X--7777X--|
|--99999\777X--7777X--77X--7777X--7777X--|
|--55555--55X--5555X--55X--5555X--5555X--|
|----------------------------------------|

|--------------------------------------------|
|--------------------------------------------|
|--77777\555X--5555X--5555-------------------|
|--77777\555X--5555X--55555555X--5555X--55X--|
|--55555\333X--3333X--33555555X--5555X--55X--|
|-------------------------3333X--2222X--22X--|

Then, ramping up slowly in volume, comes a second guitar that
follows the changes of the first one:

|-------3----3----3----3--|
|-------3----3----3----3--|
|-------2----0----0----0--|
|--2----2----x----0----0--|
|--2----0----3----x----x--|
|--0----X----x----3----2--|

Low in the mix, but still here, is a guitar playing the following
riff over and over again:

|-----------------------------|
|-----------------------------|
|----9----------9---9------9--|
|--------7----------7---------|
|--7---7------7---7------7----|
|-----------------------------|
   m m m m m

And then, of course, we have the lead guitar that plays
throughout this section of the song:

|-----------------| |-------------------|
|-----------------| |-------------------|
|--9h7------------| |-------------------|
|-----9h7-7-7/9v--| 3x, |--9-7v--5v--7v--9--| Then,
|-----------------| then |-------------------|
|-----------------| |-------------------|

|-----------------| |-----------------------------|
|-----------------| |-----------------------------|
|--9h7------------| |--9h7-------------/7---------|
|-----9h7-7-7/9v--| 2x, |-----9h7-7-/7-5v-----9-7-9v--|
|-----------------| then |-----------------------------|
|-----------------| |-----------------------------|

All those sections play together for the duration of the middle
section of the song. Then, we go back to the main riff, first with
a high-pass filter, and then with the filter wide open. The song
ends with the parts all fading out one at a time. The final note is
a reversed clip of one of the lead bits.
